Terms of use
What you can do with ViralHit, what we commit to, and what ends an account.

Who publishes ViralHit
ViralHit can be reached at hello@viralhit.app. Any request about your data goes to that address and is answered within one month.
Your account
An account is created with an email address and a six-digit code. There is no password, and no Google or Apple sign-in.
You must be at least 16. One account per person: creating several accounts to appear more than once in a ranking gets those scores removed.
Your nickname must stay readable and must not impersonate anyone.
Scores
Reps are counted by the camera, under versioned rules that are the same for everyone. The server re-checks every score.
A score obtained by fooling the counter is not valid. The duels involved are cancelled, and repeat attempts close the account.
When the camera is unavailable, nothing is counted and the attempt is unranked. That is deliberate: an invented number is no better than no number.
Volts
ViralHit Volts are free and have no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, or converted into money.
Volts personalise your identity in the app. Predicting the winner of a duel you are watching can earn one, and costs none: there is nothing to stake.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, threats, hateful speech.
- Recording or capturing someone else’s duel as a viewer.
- Using an account to get around a block or a ban.
- Automating, scraping or reproducing the service outside its normal use.
Report, block, leave
A report is sent from the app or to hello@viralhit.app. Anyone can block anyone, at any time, with no justification needed.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we tell you why.
Service provided as is
ViralHit is provided without a guarantee of continuous availability. Camera counting depends on your device, the light, and your framing.
These terms may change. An important change is announced in the app before it takes effect.
